What is our stock code?
Our shares are quoted in New Zealand on the NZX Main Board (which is operated by NZX) under the stock code ‘SML’.
What is the current share price?
Our current share price can be found on the NZX website. This is not necessarily the price you can currently buy or sell our shares for.
How do I buy and sell shares?
You will need to talk to a stockbroker (NZX market participant) to buy or sell our shares. A full list of New Zealand stockbrokers and other information about buying or selling shares on NZX can be found on the NZX website. Trading of our shares can occur every day the NZX Main Board is open for trading.
If you are a resident outside of New Zealand and want to buy Synlait shares please note that our shares can generally only be purchased through a New Zealand stockbroker. However, you can contact your local stockbroker to see if they have a relationship with a New Zealand stockbroker.
Your stockbroker or independent financial advisor will be able to provide you with advice about trading our shares, including details of pricing expectations.
How often does Synlait report its results and when will this occur?
Synlait’s balance date is 31 July. We report six-monthly, with an annual result expected to be announced in September of each year, and an interim result expected to be announced in March of each year.

What is Synlait’s dividend policy?
Synlait has a formal dividend policy which states that the Directors do not intend to declare any dividends in the periods ending 31 July 2013 or 31 July 2014. The policy provides that the Board will regularly review Synlait’s dividend policy to determine if payments of dividends are appropriate within a financial period.
